The colour psychology of Red
In business, Red is best used sparingly but is definitely a colour not to be ignored. It is a masculine colour, speaking energy and action and is excellent for any business place and for places of sport.
A very high vibration colour, Red will stand out, advance in your space and attract the eye thus it will dominate the scene. Red is also the colour for grounding, self preservation, acceptance, and creation. Most people drawn to red are highly motivated and are good at business and decision making and are passionate about getting things done.
In marketing Red is used for food branding and food consumption areas, though we have been taught that Orange is far more stimulating to the appetite and far less aggressive a colour.
If your space is frequented by little girls, Pink is far better than Red, helping them with action and implying love and softness. Pink is a colour that says love, the reason Pink roses are so gorgeous and why Works For Your House uses it as our accent colour. At full strength, Red will say sex and sexual energy.

All colours have a positive and negative reaction. A dislike of Red may relate to anger, frustration, agression and may signify a need to release energy. It can also mean anger at the father figure and the feeling that one isn't good enough.
