"I commissioned Sharron to produce artworks for one of my clients who has an apartment on the river. We wanted a very specific look requiring pieces to compliment the custom made soft furnishings, furniture and accessories.
Her attention to detail, flexibility and ability to interpret was fabulous and created a very enjoyable and rewarding experience. The outcome couldn’t have been better! The artworks Sharron produced were not only beautiful, but also fit into their environment beautifully, enhancing the design I had installed and my client couldn’t have been happier."

Kate Davis Steer, Interior Designer, Brisbane

"Working with Sharron, was an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Her attention to detail was evident from the start. She had been given an initial outline by our interior decorator, though subsequent to her site visit, we commissioned eight extra pieces! Sharron kept us constantly informed, she arranged a visit to her studio to ensure collective harmony, was vigilant about time frames and very conscious of my budget. The final outcome was well beyond my expectations. Every piece worked beautifully with each environment from bedrooms to lounge room to hall (see above testimonial) and each had to please a different age group from my 9 and 19 year old daughters to my 20 year old son. After having spent a considerable amount of money on furnishings, Sharron’s artwork was the key that brought everything together."

“Little Jordan said, ''Where are the kangaroos?'' (Qantas plane)

I sat it at the front door....and he sat on the floor staring at it for an hour. He said he loved it.”

Rachael Munro, Director Munro Creative, Cleveland

“Dear Sharron, Westfield Shopping centre Management at North Lakes would like to officially thank you for your works in relation to the “Faces of North Lakes”. Your professionalism throughout the production and passion to complete the task within a tight deadline was greatly appreciated. The finished product met all expectations and the opening dignitaries had northing but positive comments of the uniqueness of the project and added value to the new stage 2 development.

The result of this initiative has provided Westfield North Lakes with a special “point of difference” and community talking point. The wall continues to provide a meeting point where parents can view the gallery and offers a conversational point as the kids involved in the portraits, grow up with the centre. We look forward to working with you again at Westfield North Lakes.

Yours truly, Mandy Poynton” Westfield Shopping Centre Manager, North Lakes

“My little girl is at that stage where she just loves colouring in and painting and when I heard about Little Pro Masterpieces I just knew it would be something she would enjoy doing, plus I would also have a wonderful piece of art work done by my daughter to pass through the generations - how special is that!

Little did I realize how much she would enjoy the experience! Sharron was sensational with her and to hear and watch the interactions during painting was something truly special, a memory I will cherish forever.”

Sandra Skelton, Director, Skelton Travel, Shorncliffe

"After unsuccessfully searching for artwork to complement the colours of the surrounding decor, I commissioned Sharron to custom design a canvas.  Sharron was given a cushion cover, tuff's of wool from a rug and paint swatches of an adjoining feature wall colour.

After viewing the first draft, Sharron was asked to soften the artwork, and introduce more colour and texture. Sharron was very accommodating in making these changes, which barely breeched my budget.

I will not hesitate when recommending Sharron to my clients, to achieve the desired effect in finishing a room - "the icing on the cake".

Ros Hines, Ros Hines Designs, Brighton

“Dear Sharron, I would love to tell you how much I enjoyed doing our combined artwork!  I wanted to learn a new way of using my beautiful fabrics and we certainly achieved this. As a patch worker I was looking for something new and found this a fantastic experience. It’s easy, great fun and also a learning experience the result of which is hanging, proudly in our lounge room and all our visitors admire my artwork! In a new light, I love that it’s a reminder to me that it is fun to explore new artistic techniques.

My Japanese Dreaming really lifts my lounge room as the colours blend beautifully.
Thank you Sharron, I look forward to my next session in 2008.”

Barbara Johnson, North Lakes

“Dear Sharron, To quote one of my fathers famous lines, ‘bloody marvelous’…..The painting looks fantastic, way better than Daisy’s, Julie’s and my expectations…Daisy was so proud when showing me her painting tonight. Julie and I believe this experience will give Daisy some serious confidence with her passion for art, and be a source of great joy for many years to come.

I have to say leading up to her birthday I became concerned that I had organized a gift for Daisy that was way past her age however, when Julie and I told her and saw how excited she was to do a big persons painting, I felt a little more confident. Every day she spoke about it….and after seeing her today and especially this evening (and the painting of course) I am so pleased for Daisy as she has no doubt enjoyed this experience immensely. Thank you very much!”

David Fitzpatrick, Director, Gourmet Ice Cream Products, Brisbane

“The Kindy children all had a wonderful time painting the map of Australia under Sharron’s guidance.  Sharron worked well with the children to ensure they all had a fun experience. We thank Sharron for all the time she has dedicated to this project.” Julie Cagney, Group Leader Kindy Room

“We were really impressed with the backdrop of Australia – it looked excellent.”

Parent feedback following the Christmas Concert.

“We are all so thrilled with what Sharron was able to help Cameron to create.   He is so proud of himself and had such a great time too. He takes great pleasure in showing everyone his handprint in the corner as if that proves he did the painting. The room is starting to look even more fantastic as we add all Sharron’s other suggestions. It is something that we will cherish forever and an experience that I strongly recommend.”

Carly Roberts, The Gap

“Everyone that I have shown, absolutely loves the art work and can’t believe Connor painted them, its so good to see the reactions!   Thanks so much.” Liz

And after Christmas, what did Dad think of his presents Liz? “He loved them, they brought him to tears, he couldn’t believe that Connor had helped paint them, he has watched the video twice and looked at the photos- he has told everyone about them, no one gets to walk in the house without seeing them!” Liz Jackson, Kurwongbah

“I saw an ad where Sharron was helping children to do paintings on canvas.   I thought what a good idea as I was looking for a fantastic Christmas present for my husband. After seeing the way Sharron interacted with my 3 year old son, the end result and the fact that my son had enjoyed it so much, I thought for my birthday I would like to do something unique for myself. So I did a Work and Play Picasso!

I spent a whole fantastic day with Sharron painting our hearts out and wow! We had so much fun and the painting is fabulous…I can’t wait to see every ones reaction! Every time I walk in my room I look at what I did. Wow! Even I could do a masterpiece (with Sharron’s help of course) and it’s amazing how the painting has brought the room to life as all the colours match everything in the room. It’s simply breathtaking. Kenyan Nights has brought a whole new style to a very plain room. I am so pleased and impressed with Sharron’s ability to guide and with her patience…what a remarkable woman. I would recommend to anyone to do a Work and Play Picasso. Thanks so much Sharron!”  Liz Jackson, Kurwongbah

From the client to the interior designer “Just a quick note to say that we have already had three ladies visits our Centre Management to say how nice the art work is in the Parents Room. They are stunning! Thank you for your professional manner and persistence, in knowing this artwork and the colouring would work instead of the same old boring prints. It all adds a style to the rooms. I am glad I listened to you!” Geoff Cook Centre Manager, Ipswich Riverlink Shopping Centre

And from the interior designer ”I personally have been very pleased with the end result and overall upgrade to the Riverlink parent room including the artwork created by Works for Your House. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Sharron and I look forward to embarking on more future projects with her.” Regina Rowlinson Director, The In House Concept Store

“From our first initial contact – Sharron's professional and creative approach was refreshing. We required our store to be warm, distinctive and classic and to truly reflect our desire for a child’s space and this she has captured this beautifully. Her dedication and professional commitment to our shop has been exemplary and her murals can only be described in one word – magical.”  Katie Siver, Co-owner Matty Moos Children's Boutique

“My Husband Ken, Emily and myself would like to thankyou for the great day Emily spent with you painting "Edelweiss.  What a memorable birthday treat it was for Emily.

Although she tired by the end of the day, Emily thoroughly enjoyed herself!  She has always loved anything arty, be it drawing, colouring or painting, & when I saw the Works For Your House ad in the local glossy I knew instantly that was the perfect birthday gift for Emily.  She, and I, learnt many new techniques (we especially liked learning how to vignette) throughout the day.  A big thank you also for the added farm house and little extras added to the painting free of charge after the day!  What a great service. Your advice for decorating Emily's room has also been invaluable.  As if all this wasn't enough, we then found out that Emily's day with you featured on the front cover of the "Norht Lakes Messenger" with a small story about her day inside!!  How fantastic is that to add to the memories!

My son can't wait for his paintings now - although he won't be patient enough for the Little pro, so we are booking you inagaina for a Works for Sylish Kids.  Once again thankyou and an extra big thanks from Emily". Yvette McDonald, North Lakes
